The Porsche Turbo RSR was developed to race in the revamped racing Group 4, which started in 1976. Based on the 930 Turbo and competing in the aforementioned Group 4, the car was christened the 934 Turbo. It had a 2993cc engine capable of a maximum output of 485hp and torque of up to 62kg/m.

This is Tamiya's 1/12 semi-assembled scale model kit of the Porsche Turbo RSR 934 - Tamiya 23208. This is special order! The classic Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 is based on 1975's Porsche 930 and competed in the Group 4 GT categories of FIA competitions. The Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 was developed with a powerful flat-six turbo engine and dominated the 1970's racing scene, including obtaining Second Place in the Le Mans 24 Hours competition. This is a semi-assembled model kit.
