HD 599 do have notably spacious sound compared with other headphones in this price range. A great buy for longer listening sessions and for an accurate, slightly warmer, easy to listen to experience. No sibilance but still very good clarity. Not for people after big deep bass. Thanks to the large ear cups with soft replaceable ear pads there is no pressure on your ears. Great in the summer, since open headphones do not feel as warm
