Wednesday, during a press event at its HQ2 in Arlington, VA, announced a new way to control smart home devices using the upcoming Echo Hub.

Smart home control made easy. Manage your entire smart home with one easy-to-use control panel—for a custom smart home at a smart value. In the box: Echo Hub, power adapter (12.5W) and 6 ft. (1.8m) cord (white), wall mount, anchors, screws, mounting template, and quick start guide. Setup requires internet via wifi or ethernet. Device can be wall mounted (electric drill required) or placed on a stand (sold separately). Device not intended for handheld or portable use.
